Island Radio is aimed at carving out a niche market in the Jamaican media landscape to continue projecting our culture and diversity in and around the island and by extension the world. Our programming encompasses adult contemporary, Reggae, RnB, Gospel music plus amazing scheduled content. Our target audience consists primarily of persons who are 20 years and over. This group has diverse lifestyle preferences but finds consensus on one issue - Music that is melodic and familiar, the kind they grew up with and the kind that is missing across the stretch of Jamaica, balanced with supporting aired programs with content material to pique the interests of those with the urge to learn, earn and be aware.

Island Radio would like to create a balance for our listeners. We want to serve the best of music and intriguing content to the listening audience in and outside of the county. In addition, the station is continuing to develop other programs and special features which cover a wide range of subject matters to appeal to advertisers and listeners. Our plans are to participate in cultural activities, explore our island and uplift each other with positive vibe and culture.
